Man Held in Douglasville on Incest Charge
He is accused of fathering a 17-year-old girl's child.
A Douglas County judge on Wednesday denied bond for a 44-year-old Mableton man accused of fathering a 17-year-old girl's child.
Richard Andrew Cosden is being held in the Douglas County Jail on a charge of incest, according to online jail records.
He has admitted to having sex with the girl at least a dozen times, Assistant District Attorney Anna Vaughn told the Douglas County Sentinel.

The victim's mother suspected Cosden could be the father, took his toothbrush and swabbed the baby's mouth, Vaughn told the Sentinel.
"She got a DNA test," Vaughn said, "and that is conclusive that the defendant is in fact the father of the 17-year-old's child."
