Libertarians Elect Officers at Cookout

The local political party got together on Saturday at Deer Lick Park for their annual convention.

The Libertarian Party of Douglas County held their annual convention on Saturday at . During the convention and hot dog cookout, the following officers were elected: Kevin Cherry, chairman; Brian Ott, vice chairman; and
Teresa Rosche Ott, secretary/treasurer.

The community was invited to attend the free event and a couple of local politicians showed up for a free hot dog, Gary Warner, who is running for city council and Rochelle Robinson, who is running for mayor.
