Georgia House District 66 Candidates Answer TSPLOST Questions

With the upcoming Transportation Investment Act vote on July 31, also known as TSPLOST, where do you stand on that issue regarding our state, region and Douglas County?

The three GOP State House District 66 candidates met Monday night at a candidate forum to answer questions posed by the GOP.

Mike Miller is a current ; Bob Snelling formerly served in the Georgia House of Representatives, 1995 to 2003; and Mickey Thompson served as for 12 years and as a city councilman for four.

The Republican primary is July 31. The winner of the primary will face Democrat Kimberly Alexander in the Nov. 6 election.

The new Georgia House District 66 will cover Douglas County and part of Paulding County.

The attached videos are of the three candidates answering the following questions, posed by Moderator Perry McGuire:

The passage of this referendum is imperative for the future growth of the city. No one likes to be taxed but the programs that this referendum will provide are definitely well worth it.
