Downtown Conference Center Update

Conference Center Update:

• The house was completely demolished last week and the old courthouse will be completely demoolished by the end of this week.  

• Hardin, the construction company, is currently hauling off unsuitable soils from the site which will result in significant dump truck traffic through town.

• Spring Street from Price Avenue to Bowden Street is closed and will be for quite a while. The City will be cutting out half of the street this week to begin excavation of the foundations at the south end of the parking deck.

 Plaza East:

• Construction is still moving forward as scheduled.

• Those parking in the City parking lot off of Campbellton Street behind A Design Center please adhere to the entry and exit signs for the parking lot. The entrance to the lot is off of Church Street. The exit for the lot is off of Campbellton Street.
