City Completes Sidewalk Projects

The City of Douglasville received funds from the Georgia Department of Transportation for a sidewalk project on Club Drive and Bowden Street.

The City of Douglasville received funds from the Georgia Department of Transportation for the project. The sidewalks will connect Club Drive and Bowden Street to the downtown retail/restaurant areas. The project will add more walkability to the Douglasville community. The sidewalk on Club Drive is on one-side, the west side, from Selman Drive to Church Street. The project, designed by Jon Benson & Associates, Inc., was advertised for bid and the lowest bidder was Tople Construction, Inc. The City has a contract with GDOT for an amount of $184,088.45.Β
