Woman Sells Pot to Police, Arrested

Elizabeth Zachery was arrested after selling marijuana to an undercover Douglas County Sheriff's Officer. Kayla Bayne and Thomas Kelly were arrested and charged with selling prescription drugs out of their home.

Three arrests were made this week for sales of marijuana and prescription drugs, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Department Facebook page.

Elizabeth Zachery was arrested on charges of sales of marijuana and conspiracy to commit a violation for the Georgia controlled substances act. Zachery sold marijuana to an undercover officer at the direction of another individual. Information was obtained that Zachery was selling marijuana in Douglasville. Agents were able to make a purchase from Zachery. Arrest warrants were secured for her arrest. She was scheduled to appear before the local magistrate Friday morning.

The Warrant Fugitive Division and agents arrested Kayla Bayne and Thomas Kelly. Agents received a tip that prescription drugs were being used and possibly sold from a residence in Lithia Springs, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Department Facebook page. Agents went to the residence and located illegally obtained prescription drugs and marijuana. Bayne and Kelly were taken into custody.
