Suspect Sought in Financial Fraud Case

The Douglas County Sheriff's Department is investigating a financial fraud case where the suspect utilized the victim's financial information and was able to obtain money from his bank account.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a financial fraud case where the suspect in the photo utilized the victim's financial information and accessed the account and was able to obtain money from the bank accounts, according to the Sheriff's Facebook page.

Investigator Joe Williams is asking for assistance from the public to assist in identifying this individual. The subject in the still photo used a bank card from Best Bank belonging to the victim. This subject deposited a fraudulent check in the account and then withdrew the $200 credit the bank allows you until the check clears. The check was deposited in an ATM in Jonesboro, and the $200 credit was withdrew Douglasville branch ATM.
