State Inmate Brings Drugs into Jail

State inmate charged with bringing drugs into the Douglas County jail.

Howard Perry was charged for bringing drugs across the Douglas County jail guard line and being in possession of marijuana Thursday morning, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Facebook page.

Perry, who was being brought in on a production order according to the report, was searched by Deputy J. Queen as he came in. Queen located the marijuana, wrapped in plastic, hidden in the waistband of his pants. Perry appeared before the Magistrate court on Friday morning and was given a $5,500 bond.
