Sheriff's K-9 Unit Trains New Dog Deputies

Douglas County Sheriff's deputies Clint Adams and Josh Skinner are out today training their brand new K-9 partners, Lord and Bando. Both dogs are 17-month-old German Sheppards.

The twoΒ dogs will be going through four weeks of additional training before beginning their official duties.

"We want to make sure they're really ready when they go out on the street," said Lt. Michael Barnhill, Sheriff's K-9 unit.
