Sheriff's Dept. Seizes 27 Pounds of Pot

Roberto Gonzalez, 23, of Arlington, Texas, was arrested Friday when officers of the Douglas County F.I.N.D. Unit found 27 pounds of vacuum-sealed Marijuana in a large bag in his trunk.

Roberto Gonzalez, 23, of Arlington, Texas, was arrested Friday when officers of the Unit found 27 pounds of vacuum-sealed Marijuana in a large bag in his trunk.

The vehicle was stopped while traveling on Interstate 20, eastbound between Tyson Rd., and Post Rd. According to the Douglas County Sheriff's website, consent was given to search the vehicle and Gonzalez was arrested without incident. The car was also seized.

According to his record of arrest, Gonzalez was also charged with trafficking in cocaine.
