The two Douglas County jail inmates who escaped from a work detail last week are still at large, the sheriff’s office posted on Facebook.
The office linked to a Douglas County Sentinel article that reported a reward was being offered in the search for Kenneth Judson Long and Coleman Dwayne Manessa, who escaped around 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, from a work location off Post Road near Winston, Ga.
The men were in jail on burglary, theft by taking, and theft by receiving stolen property charges.
They reportedly stole a tan or gold sedan, similar to a Ford Crown Victoria, after seeing the keys were left inside. They were wearing dark blue jail uniforms with orange stripes
