Report: Woman Arrested Was Part of So-Called 'Felony Lane Gang'

The group of thieves steal "whatever they can get," officer tells court.

Douglas County authorities say a Cobb County woman facing entering auto charges may be a member of a crime group called the “Felony Lane Gang.”

The Douglas County Sentinel reported Brandi Laquiche Ford, 29, was in Magistrate Court Friday after she was arrested for entering a vehicle Sunday in Deer Lick Park.

The newspaper reported the gang’s name comes from their practice of fraudulently cashing checks in bank drive-thru lanes furthest away the teller. The group apparently has ties to South Florida.
