Report: Body of Missing Carroll Man Found in Douglas County

Jimmy Aaron Wilkerson had been missing since May 11.

An elderly man who had been missing from Carroll County since May 11 was found dead Tuesday in Douglas County.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office told the AJC the body of Jimmy Aaron Wilkerson, 80, was found near a logging road. His pickup truck had been found Monday night stuck in a muddy creek.

Wilkerson’s body was found a few hundred yards away from the truck. There were no signs of foul play.
