They walked off the detail around 1 p.m. Thursday.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two inmates who escaped from a work detail Thursday afternoon.

Kenneth Judson Long and Coleman Dwayne Manessa escaped around 12:45 p.m. from a work location off Post Road near Winston, Ga. Both men are currently under arrest for burglary, theft by taking, and theft by receiving stolen property, the sheriff’s office said.

The men were last seen getting into a tan or gold sedan, similar to a Ford Crown Victoria. They were wearing dark blue jail uniforms with orange stripes.
