2 Die in Apparent Murder-Suicide Near Lithia Springs
The shootings occurred around 7 a.m. Sunday
Two people were found shot to death Sunday morning within a short distance of each other in Douglas County, apparently the results of a murder-suicide, the AJC reported.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said John Malone, 48, was shot multiple times around 7 a.m. near a Lithia Springs trucking company where he worked.
His girlfriend of 18 months allegedly shot him, then drove a short distance away and killed herself in her vehicle near Thornton Road, according to the AJC.
