Police: Man Arrested for Selling Pot to Deputies

Eric Carter has been arrested for selling marijuana to Douglas County undercover investigators.

Eric Carter, 27, of Douglasville, was arrested Wednesday night for selling marijuana to Douglas County deputies of the Special Investigations, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Facebook page.

Carter sold marijuana on three occasions to agents, according the report, working on a tip about Carter selling illegal drugs. Agents executed a search warrant at his Lithia Springs Home and discovered several ounces of marijuana and items used to package drugs for distribution.

Arrest reports indicate that Carter is being held in the Douglas County Jail with no bond being offered.

Carter was also arrested in 2007 for misdemeanor abandonment of child.
