Murder Charges Filed Against Woman for Striking Another With Vehicle

Alexandria Wells of Douglasville was reportedly an innocent bystander during domestic dispute.

An Ellenwood, Ga., woman has been charged with felony murder after Douglasville Police said she killed another woman with her vehicle Friday night.

Brehonna Nicole Turner is alleged to have hit Alexandria Wells of Douglasville at an area townhouse complex.

Douglas County coroner Randy Daniel told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Wells was pinned under the vehicle and died of asphyxiation.

Witnesses said Wells was apparently an innocent bystander during a domestic dispute between Turner and an ex-boyfriend, according to the AJC.

According to Douglas County jail records, Turner has also been charged with aggravated assault. She is being held without bond.
