Lithia Springs Man Among 5 Arrested in Home Invasion Case

19-year-old Victor Lopez, of Lithia Springs, is among 5 men arrested in a Cobb home invasion case.

The Cobb County Police Department’s Robbery Squad continues to investigate a home invasion/robbery, which occurred at 2451 Doubletree Drive in Acworth.

According to investigators, the Cobb County Emergency Communications Center dispatched uniformed officers from Precinct-1 to the house on Doubletree Drive, after receiving a 9-1-1 call from a neighbor reporting suspicious activity there. When officers arrived, they located and arrested two male suspects who were in need of medical attention after they and three other male suspects illegally entered the residence.

Additional officers who were responding located and arrested the third and fourth male suspects a short distance away; while the fifth male suspect fled the area on foot.

With the assistance of Acworth, Marietta, Woodstock and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office law enforcement agencies, the fifth suspect was apprehended (without incident) within the hour.

ARRESTED:

Imanuel Tyler (20 year old male from College Park, Georgia)
Victor Lopez (19 year old male from Lithia Springs, Georgia)
Devante Brown (a 21 year old male from College Park, Georgia)
Terrone Mays (a 17 year old male)
Ricky Carrasquillo (17 year old make from Kennesaw, Georgia)

Four of the five suspects currently reside at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault and Burglary. The fifth suspect will be transferred from a local hospital to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center after he has been treated for injuries he sustained during the crime.
