K-9 Search Finds Pot Hidden in Jail Inmate's Bunk

Douglas County Jail inmate allegedly had the weed hidden in a toilet paper roll.


An inmate in the Douglas County Jail faces additional charges after a K-9 search of the dorm uncovered an amount of marijuana.

The department said in a news release that Malcom Webb appeared before a Magistrate Court judge and was given a $5,000 bondΒ on the new charges of marijuana possession of under one ounce and possession by an inmate.

The dorm was searched after receiving a tip. According to the news release, Deputy Adams and K-9 partner Bando found the marijuana inside a toilet paper roll hidden in the mattress of Webb's bunk.
