House Found: 'Thank You Citizens, Patch Followers'

Investigators at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office have found the owners of this house thanks to the help of residents and Patch.

Less than 24 hours after announcing that investigators at the Douglas County Sheriff's Department were searching for a house where possible thefts were committed, the house has been identified.

"The locating of the house was as a direct result of the Patch, and the citizens of Douglas County," said Investigator Dale Kelley in an email this morning. "Please Thank your followers for me."

Kelley said he has already spoken to the home's owner.

A camera with this photo on it was discovered in the possession of a group of suspected thieves who are believed to have been committing burglaries in Douglas, Paulding, Bartow, Pope and Carroll counties. The camera was recovered with other stolen merchandise during the week of Oct. 21 and the photo was taken on Oct. 9.
