Douglas County Chief Judge Robert J. James decided not to set bond for Shirley Barker McManners of Douglasville during her first court appearance this morning. District Attorney David McDade said the court wanted to wait until McManners is evaluated before setting bond.

McManners is charged with vehicular homicide in the death of 17-year-old junior Brandy Hart, who was hit by McManners' car right after she got off a school bus Tuesday night.
