Cobb Police Search for Six Flags Drive Armed Robber

A man entered the Family Dollar Store and as he approached two employees with an item he was going to allegedly purchase, he displayed a handgun to them.

The Cobb County Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit is investigating an armed robbery, which occurred at 401 Six Flags Drive in Austell.

According to investigators, a man entered the Family Dollar Store and as he approached two employees with an item he was going to allegedly purchase, he displayed a handgun to them. After demanding money from the employees, he fled from the area with an undisclosed amount of cash in what was described as a small (maroon or burnt orange) crossover style SUV. It also displayed an out of state tag.

Police are looking for a white male, 5’05”-5’06” tall, 175 pounds. He was clean shaven and described as being between 20-25 years of age. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, a red hooded sweat shirt, a red baseball cap and dark colored jeans. He also had on black and white “Puma” sneakers. He was armed with a handgun.
