Camp to Plead Guilty on Vehicular Homicide Charges

Michael Cory Camp, 22, is scheduled to enter a guilty plea on charges of vehicular homicide Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 9:30 a.m. in Judge William “Beau” McClain’s courtroom, according to Andrew Agan, director of community relations for the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office.

Camp is charged with two counts of homicide by vehicle in the first degree by DUI and two counts of homicide by vehicle in the first degree by reckless driving.

Camp is accused of crossing the centerline in a curve and striking a vehicle on Post Rd., killing Lewis Crenshaw and Matthew Ryan Miller, both 20 years old and from Winston. The crash occurred around 2 a.m. on May 2.
