Bond Denied to Man Fleeing Police

Corey Lamar Ross was denied bond by Judge Susan Camp.

Corey Lamar Ross, 20, was denied bond Friday by Chief Magistrate Judge Susan Camp after being charged with felony fleeing, attempting to elude, reckless conduct, suspended license, reckless driving, hit and run (no injuries) and improper U-turn.

Ross was arrested after fleeing a license check point just after midnight, according to the Douglas County Sentinel. The chase began early Friday morning at the westbound off ramp on I-20 at Lee Rd. Ross is accused of striking another vehicle and driving more than 126 miles per hour.
