Alzheimer's Patient Found
Joseph David Porter, a 66-year-old is believed to have been last seen in the area of Bankhead Highway/US 78 and Bright Star Road at about 1:30 a.m. The Douglas County Sheriff's Department is currently searching for him.
Update: Joseph David Porter has been found has been found safe.
Joseph David Porter, 66, is described as a white male approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, about 168 pounds with grey hair and hazel eyes.
He has Stage 7 Alzheimer’s (very serious) and has a history of wandering from home. He is almost completely incapacitated, and may not be able to tell someone his name. He MAY (unconfirmed) have been seen in the area of Bankhead Highway/US 78 and Bright Star Road about 1:30 a.m. in Douglas County this morning. He lives in the Bright Star Road area.
