AJC Reports DA to Seek Death Penalty in Tillman Murder

Three to face death penalty after Douglas County District Attorney David McDade offered them a chance to plead guilty.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that Douglas County District Attorney David McDade will seek the death penalty against the three remaining accused in the Bobby Tillman murder. The AJC reported Tuesday that Emanuel Boykins, 18, agreed to plead guilty to the charge of felony murder in the death of Tillman to avoid the death penalty. Boykins is accused of starting the fight that led to Tillman's being stomped to death.
