Three men were arrested after Douglas County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a robbery-in-progress call at the Plantation Estates Mobile Home Park this morning shortly after midnight. Four victims were tied up by the robbers, two of whom surrendered on the scene and one was captured at around 7 a.m.

When the first deputy arrived on the scene, "he saw the door cracked and a person laying on the floor with zip-tie hand cuffs," Douglas County Sheriff Phil Miller said.

The deputy called for backup and the trailer was surrounded.

"One perp gave himself up immediately and another came out with a gun and didn't give up right away but finally dropped it," Miller said.

The third perpetrator was identified as Darnell Kelly who was captured later by Sheriff's deputies.

"Once we identified who the third person was, we went to locations where we thought he might be," Miller said.
