3 Officers Added to Leadership Grads

Three more members of the Douglas County Sheriff's Department Command Staff have graduated from the Public Safety Leadership Institute at Mercer Universityaccording to the sheriff's website. The six-week course is a concentrated program for public safety officials designed to enhance their leadership abilities and prepare them to assume more command responsibility as needed.

They are:

  • Lieutenant Gary Gaston
  • Lieutenant Billy Lashley
  • Lieutenant Darryl Green
