3 Drug Arrests Made: Sale of Pot to Agents, Prescription Narcotics Sales

Three arrests have been made in two unrelated cases by the Douglas County Sheriff's Department, one for selling marijuana to agents and two for sales of prescription narcotics.

Kevin Bohannon, 25 of Douglasville, was arrested on warrants issued by the Special Investigations Division of the Douglas County Sheriff's Department, according to the Sheriff's Facebook page. Bohannon sold marijuana to agents during the month of September. Warrants were taken out on him after agents lost contact with Bohannon and were not able to arrest him at the time the sales were occurring.

According to arrest records, Bohannon was arrested on Dec. 1 and is being held in the Douglas County Jail with no bond being offered.

In an unrelated case, agents with the Special Investigations Division also arrested James Dix, 39 of Carrollton, and Shannon Gates, 38 of Carrollton, on multiple counts of sales of prescription narcotics. Both individuals met with agents on several occasions and sold multiple tablets of prescription narcotics, according to the Sheriff's Facebook page. They were taken into custody on a traffic stop by the Patrol Division. They were scheduled to appear before the local judge Thursday morning.

According to arrest records, Dix and Gates were arrested on Dec. 5 and both are being held in the Douglas County Jail with no bond being offered.
