2 Indicted in 2009 Inmate Death
Rodney Neal Graham died despite repeated attempts for medical attention, according to an article at Times-Georgian.com.
Stephanie Evans, 40, and Kelli Marie Brown, 44, both of Douglasville, were charged with two counts of reckless conduct and indicted Friday by a Douglas County special grand jury involving the 2009 prison death of Rodney Neal Graham, according to an article at Times-Georgian.com.
Graham and his family pleaded for medical attention due to his life-threatening kidney disorder but the grand jury found that he failed to get adequate medical attention, the article said.
“This is the most serious allegation of the mistreatment of an inmate that I have ever had to deal with,” Douglas County District Attorney David McDade said in the article.
