2 Indicted in 2009 Inmate Death

Rodney Neal Graham died despite repeated attempts for medical attention, according to an article at Times-Georgian.com.

Stephanie Evans, 40, and Kelli Marie Brown, 44, both of Douglasville, were charged with two counts of reckless conduct and indicted Friday by a Douglas County special grand jury involving the 2009 prison death of Rodney Neal Graham, according to an article at Times-Georgian.com.

Graham and his family pleaded for medical attention due to his life-threatening kidney disorder but the grand jury found that he failed to get adequate medical attention, the article said.

β€œThis is the most serious allegation of the mistreatment of an inmate that I have ever had to deal with,” Douglas County District Attorney David McDade said in the article.
