William 'Frank' Hollis Dies

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

William “Frank” Hollis, 79, passed away Feb. 12. He was born Jan. 16, 1933 in Douglas County to the late Spesard Franklin Hollis and Edna Faye Morris Hollis. He was a Veteran of the US Army, employed by the Local 387 as an Iron Worker and was a member of the Flint Hill Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, Spesard Franklin Hollis and Edna Faye Morris Hollis, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Gaston.

Survivors are his sisters: Jane Arrington of Winston, Alice Still of Villa Rica, Christine Wiley, Sarah Jones, Susan Stewart, all of Douglasville;  brothers: Charlie Hollis, Rayburn Hollis, J.C. Hollis, all of Winston, Hugh Hollis of Hendersonville, NC; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. from with Rev. James Massengill officiating. Interment will follow in the Flint Hill Cemetery.
