Warren Allen Flower, Jr., 69, Douglasville

Warren Allen Flower, Jr., affectionately called “Pop Pop”, age 69, of Douglasville, passed away June 17, 2014.  He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on December 28, 1944, the son of the late Warren Allen Flower, Sr. and the late Barbara Harlow Flower.  He worked with Eastern Airlines for 15 years and finished out his career with the Home Depot. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. 

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lynn Cecil Flower, of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Tanya Flower, of Woodstock; granddaughter, Madeline Flower; sisters and brother-in-law, Gaylyn and Jim Moore and Katie Anderson; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on July 12 at 11:00 AM at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Gibbs officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on July 12 between the hours of  9 AM and  11 AM.

In accordance with his wishes, his body was cremated.

Interment of cremains will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
