Tiger Allyn, 57, Dies

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, Dec. 12. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Dr. Steve Davis, Dr. Mark Albertus, and Ms. Allison Jiles officiating.

Tiger Allyn, 57 of Villa Rica, passed away on Sunday morning, Dec. 8. He was born Aug. 25, 1956 in Boston, MA., the son of the late William Bradford “Bill” Allyn, Sr. and the late Hope Faxon Allyn. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was self-employed and formerly owned CJ’s Restaurant in Carrollton.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Moore Allyn; children: Ansley Hope Allyn, Steven Spencer Allyn, and Hunter William Allyn, all of Villa Rica; sisters and brothers-in-law: Darby Allyn Goodsell Frost of Plano, TX, Wendy & George Wiklund of Canton, Michigan, and Kathy & Raul Castillo of Marietta, Georgia.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, Dec. 12. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Dr. Steve Davis, Dr. Mark Albertus, and Ms. Allison Jiles officiating.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, the body was cremated following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Carrollton High School Performing Arts Fund, in memory of Tiger Allyn, Attn: Dr. Mark Albertus, 202 Trojan Drive, Carrollton, Georgia, 30117; Tanner Hospice, 101 Clinic Avenue, Carrollton, Georgia, 30117; or to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org/gift.
