Thelma Jane Adkins Means, 86, Dies
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. Internment to follow.
Thelma Jane Adkins Means, 86 of Fort Wayne IN., passed away Friday Dec. 20, at Lutheran Hospital in Indiana.
Mrs. Means was born to Charlie Edward Adkins and Madeline Erma Moore Adkins on January 29, 1926 in Minden, West Virginia.
She worked as a waitress for Shoney's Big Boy.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marshall Means and her parents Madeline Moore Adkins and Charlie Edward Adkins. Survivors include brother, Lloyd Adkins of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; sister, Garnet Wilks of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; niece, Sandra Cadle of Mooresville, North Carolina; and three grandchildren.
