Sherri Wix Hooks, 50, Dies
A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in Douglasville with Rev. Terry Marbut officiating. According to the family's wishes, her body was cremated.
Sherri Wix Hooks, 50 of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012. She was born September 8, 1962 in Austell, the daughter of Max Wix and the late Mildred Martin Baxter. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was devoted to her family.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Sarah Hooks of Buchanan; her father and step mother, Max and Juanita Wix of Douglasville; step sister, Cheryl Collins of Lithia Springs; three step brothers, Michael Clements of Douglasville, Alan Nunnally of Ephesus, and Kenneth Nunnally of Marietta; several nieces and nephews.
