Ruth Hackney Dies
The family will received friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday Dec. 10, from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m.
Ruth Hackney, 84, of Lithia Springs, passed away Wednesday Dec. 8, at Tranquility Hospice in Austell. She was born May 20, 1927 in Fulton County. She was a homemaker and a member of the County Line Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Dean Hackney and her son, Larry Hackney.
She is survived by her four daughters: Gloria Jean Tucker of Villa Rica, Linda Hirsh of Florida, Valerie Green and Becky Radford both of Lithia Springs, grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services were conducted Saturday Dec. 10 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, with Rev. Jerry Adair officiating. Interment followed in County Line Cemetery.
