Rebecca Gail Hollis Cook Dies

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on today, Jan. 30, 2012 from 5 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 3 p.m. at Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Pastor James Massengill officiating.

Rebecca Gail Hollis Cook, 50, of Winston, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29. She was born on Nov. 5, 1961 in Carroll County the daughter of Charlie Lee Hollis and Glenda Davis Hollis. She was a member of the Douglas Chapel Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her brother, David Lee Hollis.

Survivors include her parents, Charlie and Glenda Hollis of Winston; children, Daniel Allen Mooney of Douglas County, Lacy Lee Teal Sutton of Colorado and Stevie Rhiannon Cook of Nashville; brother, Jeffery Mark Hollis of Winston; grandson, James Sutton; niece, Deborah Ann Marie Vanderbush; nephews, Jacob Hollis and Jonathan Hollis; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on today, Jan. 30, 2012 from 5 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 3 p.m. at with Pastor James Massengill officiating.

Interment will follow in the Douglas Chapel Church of God Cemetery with Mike Hollis, Jonathan Hollis, Bobby Still, Gary Gaston, Chuck Canady and Hugh Hollis serving as Pallbearers.
