Navy Vet Jimmie Fouts Ransom Dies

A small, intimate gathering of family and friends, will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, at noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the family cemetery in Alpharetta.

Jimmie Fouts Ransom, 68 of Douglasville, passed away Saturday, Aug. 11. She was born in Austell, on Sept.16, 1943 to Jim Macon Fouts and Ruth Pannell Fouts. She was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, having received an Honorable Discharge. After her Navy Career, she was a loving mother, homemaker and a member of Full Gospel Church in Lithia Springs.

In addition to her parents, Jim Macon Fouts and Ruth Jeanette Pannell Fouts, she was preceded in death by one brother.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Kellie Tucker and Chris Eubanks of Douglasville and one grandson.
