Naomi C. Queen, 92, Dies

Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 11 a.m. from the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery, 8445 Ephesus Church Rd., Villa Rica 30180 with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating, followed by the interment.

Naomi C. Queen, 92 of Douglasville, passed away, Monday, Dec. 3. She was born Feb. 7, 1920 in Douglas County, to the late Joseph Chapman and Nettie Bell Carnes Chapman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ephesus Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Joseph Chapman and Nettie Bell Carnes Chapman, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Queen; brothers, Johnny Chapman, George Chapman and Ross Chapman, and sister, Linda Hutchins.

Survivors are her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Montine Chapman of Radford, VA, and sister-in-law, Rosalind Chapman of Douglasville, nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 11 a.m. from the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery, 8445 Ephesus Church Rd., Villa Rica 30180 with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating, followed by the interment.

The family will receive friends, today from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
