Nancy Olivia Appleby, 73, Dies
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from noon until hour of service.
Nancy Olivia Appleby, 73 of Douglasville, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 2. She was born Jan. 2, 1941 in Atlanta, the daughter of the late Thomas Judson Stoe and the late Louise Anderson Stoe. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Mableton.
Survivors include her children: Greg & Angie Appleby of Douglasville, Jimmy & Sherry Appleby of Winston, Laurie & Todd Goodwin of Douglasville, and Chris & Valerie Appleby of Dallas; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Minister David York officiating. Grandsons, Scott Toney, Stephen Toney, Destry Appleby, Dalton Appleby, and Dale Appleby, will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Mableton Memorial Gardens.
