Mrs. Betty Jean (Gantt) Lee, 80, Formerly of Lithia Springs
She was a 1952 graduate of Villa Rica High School.
Mrs. Betty Jean (Gantt) Lee of Eatonton, Georgia, passed away July 22, 2014.
She was born December 12, 1933, in Pickens, South Carolina, the daughter of James C. Gantt and Nancy Viola Long. She graduated from Villa Rica High School in 1952 and married Henry Edward Lee in 1957. She was a long time resident of Lithia Springs and moved to Lake Sinclair upon retiring.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, David Gantt, and her sister, Sybil Chapman.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward Lee, daughter, Terry Loftin, son Kevin Lee; grandchildren: Carla and Tiffany Loftin, Charlie Dickinson, Alex Blecher, and Nikki Lee; brother, Wayne Gantt (Shirley) of Temple, sisters: Bonnie Price of Lithia Springs, Mary Smith of Villa Rica, Susie Noles (Richard) of Villa Rica, and Brenda Bain of Cincinnati, Ohio.
A memorial service is not planned at this time.
