Mary Bernice Huckeba, 102, Dies
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17, from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Timothy Lamb officiating.
Mary Bernice Huckeba, 102 of Carrollton, passed away on Saturday evening, Dec. 14. She was born May 15, 1911 in Carrollton, the daughter of the late Luin D. Entrekin and the late Julia C. Wright Entrekin. She was a loving wife, homemaker, and Baptist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey D. Huckeba; son, Maynard Huckeba; daughter, Jeanette Buchanan; and brothers: Chester Entrekin, Lemuel Entrekin, and Loyd Entrekin. Survivors include four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a number of great, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews and other loved ones.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17, from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Timothy Lamb officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Robbie Norton, Chris Norton, Christopher Johnson, Shane Norton, Jeremy Pontero and David Brown.
Interment will follow in Old Camp United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4 until 8 p.m.
