Mary Ann French, 67, Dies

Mary Ann French, 67 of Douglasville, passed away Saturday, May 04, 2013. She was born on Oct. 8, 1945 in Rockmart to the late Jesse Clarence Forsyth and the late Jodie Ann Hicks Forsyth. She was retired from Circle K after more than 15 years of service. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Union City.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Odell Forsyth and Dorsey Forsyth and sister, Ophelia Nix.

She is survived by her husband, James French; daughter, Darlene Cash of Forsyth County; son, Chad French of Douglasville; sisters, Melba Camp of Douglasville, Evelyn Chupp of Cartersville, Paulette Newberry of Tyrone, Sandra Cravey of Douglasville; brothers, Johnny Forsyth of Palmetto, Benny Forsyth of Conyers; grandchildren, Madison, Morgan and James Cash of Forsyth and their loving dog Jack.

Funeral Service was held Wednesday, May 8, from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Campbell officiating. Interment followed in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Dallas, GA.
