Lithia Springs Grad, Graham Scott Mitchell, 24, Dies

The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on today from 4 to 8 p.m.

Graham Scott Mitchell, 24 of Douglasville, passed away Monday, Dec. 16. He was born in Chattanooga, TN., on Sept. 29, 1989. Graham was a 2008 Graduate of Lithia Springs High School and was a freelance Tattoo Artist.  He was a member of Family Life Church of Verndale, Minnesota. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Earline Mitchell.

He is survived by his Dad and Mom, Scott and Sandy Mitchell, of Douglasville; his birth mother, Jill Kylander and Jesse Kylander; sister, Amanda Zetah; brother, Dylan Kylander; maternal grandparents, Al and Jo Summerford of Clearwater, Florida; paternal grandfather, Tom Mitchell and his wife, Myra, of Dalton, Georgia; aunts and uncles: Debra and Wally Sheats, Jane Lucas, Dale and Sarah Summerford, Karen and Derek Merck, and Susan and Sam Ayestock; cousins, Eric Sheats, Lane Sheats, Rhiannon Sheats, Sarah Jo Sheats, Ben Lucas, Julie Lucas, Rachel Summerford, Addie Summerford, Maddox Summerford, Jamie and Trevor Allen, and Brooklyn Allen.

Funeral Services will be held at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22, with Pastor Fred Gilkeson officiating. Music will be rendered by Karen Beard and Tim Foreman. 

Interment will follow in the Mozley Memorial Gardens with Rick Bell, Lane Sheats, Nathan Thaxton, Ben Lucas, Eric Sheats, and Jacob Vineyard serving as Pallbearers.  Honorary Pallbearers will be John Roper, Shawn Buck, Paul Thornton, Jeremy Thaxton, Will Fowler, Clay Coley, Joshua Vineyard, and Joe Eads.
