Leva Margaret Lynn Dies

The family will receive friends, Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 8 and 9 from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Leva Margaret Lynn, age 86 of Douglasville, passed away, Tuesday, Feb. 7. She was born Sept. 16, 1925 in Roswell, to the late Edward Washington Yancey and Lena Irene Baldwin. She worked during her career, more than 20 years as a telephone operator for Fort McPhearson. She was a member of

In addition to her parents, Edward Washington Yancey and Lena Irene Baldwin, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Odell Lynn, one brother, and five sisters.

Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law: Vicki and Dan Chamberlain, Janis and Morris Roper, son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Becky Lynn; all of Douglasville; grandchildren: Carey and Melanie Hendrix, Denise Bergen, Jamie & Ken Jones, Jason and Jennifer Chamberlain, Darrin Roper, Alan & Angela Roper, DeAnne and Brian Hobbs, Shanna Walker, Jonathan Lynn, Jennifer McMichael, Amy Lynn, Christina Arnold and Melissa Clark; great grandchildren: Shelby, Erica, Skylar, Ondreah, Morgan, Cory, Nick, Luke, Holly, Kaci, Tyler, Brett, Thomas, Allie, Lucy, Hayden, Cade, Kaitlyn, Grayson, and Brooklyn; great great grandchildren: Shelly, Micah, Kylie, Ashli and Ashton.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, Feb. 10, at 11 a.m. from with Rev. Dan Chamberlain and Pastor Josh Buice officiating. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Memorial Park with Kenny Jones, Darrin Roper, Alan Roper, Carey Hendrix, Jason Chamberlain, Jonathan Lynn and Brian Hobbs serving as Pallbearers. Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren  and Great Great Grandchildren will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 8 and 9 from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
