Lessie M. Stanley, 88, Dies
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Jan. 11, from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Gary Clark officiating.
Lessie M. Stanley, 88 of Carrollton, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 8. She was born Feb. 25, 1925 in Atlanta to Furman Arthur Hendon and Fannie Mae Grady Hendon. She worked as a cashier for Big Star and was a member of Barton Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, preceding her in death is husband, George M. Stanley, Sr.; and sons, George Stanley and Lonnie Stanley. Survivors include son, Leslie Stanley (Janice) of Lagrange; daughter, Bonnie Hill Stanley of Daytona Beach, FL.; daughter, Marion Stanley Douglas (Nelson) of Daytona Beach, FL.; twenty-one grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Jan. 11, from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Gary Clark officiating. Interment followed in St. Paul Methodist Church Cemetery.
