Leslie Keith Flinn, 86 of Douglasville, passed away Friday, Aug. 16. He was born May 16, 1927 in The Dalles, OR. Mr. Flinn was retired from the Amerex Corporation where he was Vice President in charge of sales for the Southeastern United States. He was very active in his church, Bright Star United Methodist. He enjoyed the Hilltoppers, a group for senior members in which he served as president for several years and enjoyed planning the trips.
Mr. Flinn was preceded in death by his first wife, Joy Stephens Flinn; his parents, Leslie D. and Marie Jones Flinn; a son who died in infancy; and a step-daughter, Janie Westmoreland.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Flinn; his sister, Frances Lee of The Dalles, OR, his children, Stephanie Delk of Indianapolis, IN, Daniel Flinn of Douglasville, GA, Bill Flinn and his wife Lisa of Douglasville, GA; his grandson, Andrew Delk of Indianapolis, IN; his step-children, Jim Westmoreland of Santa Fe, NM, Philip Westmoreland of Woodstock, GA and Paul Westmoreland of Villa Rica, GA; step-granddaughter, Amanda Bryant; step-grandsons, Chris Plymale and Jason Bryant; and step-great-granddaughter, Emily Cudziol.
The family will receive friends today at Bright Star United Methodist Church from 1 until 2 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Bright Star United Methodist Church with Dr. Thom Shores officiating.
