Joseph Wayne Byous, 72, Dies

Memorial Services will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home.

Joseph Wayne Byous, 72 of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 17. He was born Oct. 10, 1940 in Sevier County, TN., the son of the late Joseph Carl Byous and the late Sophie Mae Coward Byous. He married Eileen Cabe on April 23, 1960 in Atlanta. Before he retired, he was a business owner who operated his own plumbing business. He was a kindhearted man who loved his family. He loved nature and enjoyed the outdoors, yardwork, watching birds and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eileen Cabe Byous of Douglasville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carmen and David Hobbs of Douglasville and Christy and Ronny Pierce of Villa Rica; seven precious grandchildren, Kurt, Kaylie, Kane, Jodi, Jesse, Garrett and Gracie; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Wednesday, Feb. 20, from noon until 2 p.m. Memorial Services will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home.
