James 'Jimmie' Gene Carroll, 76, of Douglasville

James “Jimmie” Gene Carroll, age 76 of Douglasville, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014.  He was born February 22, 1938 in Anniston, AL to the late Paul Neal Carroll and Rose Sanders Carroll.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dessie Suggs Carroll and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors are his companion, Madeline Bramblett; daughters and sons-in-law: Denise and Chuck Lee, Vickey and Scott Neal; Rita Carroll and son, Jimmy Carroll; sister: Jennie Arron; brother: Herman Carroll, ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends, Friday, June 6, 2014 from 5-9 PM at the funeral home.
