Gilda ‘Linda’ Belinda Moore, 67, Dies

The funeral service was Saturday, Jan. 4, at the Rosehaven Chapel with Rev. Danny Newbern officiating.

Gilda ‘Linda’ Belinda Moore, 67 of Douglasville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31. She was born Nov. 30, 1946 in Atlanta.

Mrs. Moore was retired from Simmons Company as an administrative assistant. She was an avid golf and tennis player. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Christian Church and attended Zion Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin ‘Travis’ Lewis and Gilda Oletta Gray Lewis; her sisters, Dianne Holman and Jackie Everett.

She is survived by her husband, Bud Moore; son, Bobby Moore and wife Connie; daughter, Jan Moore and fiancé Mark Flickinger; daughter, Mandy Forrester and husband Nathon; grandchildren, Tony Baxter, Taylor Baxter, Travis Moore, Thomas Moore, Payton Forrester, Logan Forrester, Brenden Flickinger, Steffin Flickinger; brother, Biff Lewis and wife Donna, sister, Terri Johnson and husband Gary; brother-in-law, Chestley Holman; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was Saturday, Jan. 4, at the Rosehaven Chapel with Rev. Danny Newbern officiating. Interment followed at Rosehaven Memorial Park.
